❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does the app calculate walk intervals?
A: The app uses your dog's age to determine ideal walk intervals. Younger puppies need more frequent, shorter walks, while older dogs can handle longer intervals. The timing automatically adjusts as your dog grows.
Q: Can I edit or delete a walk?
A: Yes! In the History screen, tap on any walk to edit its time or delete it. You can also swipe left on a walk entry to quickly delete it.
Q: Can I change my dog's age later?
A: Yes, go to Settings (gear icon) and update your dog's age. The app will automatically calculate their current age over time, but you can adjust it if needed.
Q: Does the app track my location?
A: No. The app only stores the date and time of walks locally on your device. No location data is collected or shared.
Q: Is my data shared with anyone?
A: No. All data stays on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or share any information. See our
Privacy Policy for details.
Q: What happens if I delete the app?
A: All your data (dog's age and walk history) will be permanently deleted. There is no cloud backup, so make sure to note any important information before uninstalling.
Q: Can I use this for multiple dogs?
A: Currently, the app is designed for tracking one dog. If you have multiple dogs, you would need to use separate devices or reinstall the app (which resets all data).
🐕 Tips for Puppy Walks
- Start slow: Very young puppies tire easily. Keep walks short and increase duration gradually.
- Consistency matters: Regular walk schedules help with potty training and behavior.
- Weather awareness: Adjust walk times in extreme heat or cold.
- Socialization: Walks are great for exposing your puppy to new sights, sounds, and experiences.
- Always supervise: Keep your puppy on a leash until they're fully trained.
